We’re excited about the promise of a full-length, as my review gave the MCD a pretty good score of a 7.8, despite it being only nineteen minutes long. Here’s an excerpt: “[Brain Drill] doesn't fuck around with a meathead persona. The unfair, but accurate, way to describe this band is Spawn Of Possession meets Beneath The Massacre without the breakdowns. Melodies are catchy in typical death metal style, playing technically proficient and brutality is high. The band's sound tends to point more toward European death styles, such as Swedish and Polish, because of the ear for melodic death metal playing and the relentless brutality of acts such as Behemoth and Aeon.”
