Tampa, Florida-based grindcore act SUCCESS WILL WRITE APOCALYPSE ACROSS THE SKY has finished recording its Nuclear Blast debut, "The Grand Partition and the Abrogation of Idolatry", with legendary guitarist-turned-producer James Murphy (DEATH, TESTAMENT, OBITUARY) at the helm. An March 2009 release via Nuclear Blast Records is expected.

OBSCURA: Another New Song Posted Online

German death metallers OBSCURA have posted another brand new track, "Incarnated", on their MySpace page. The song comes off the group's second full-length album, "Cosmogenesis", which will be released in the U.S. on February 17, 2009 via Relapse Records (March 2 internationally). The CD features guest appearances from Ron Jarzombek (WATCHTOWER, SPASTIC INK, BLOTTED SCIENCE) and Tymon Kruidenier (CYNIC, EXIVIOUS). "The new album sounds very intense and brutal", the band says in a statement.

(December 5, 2008) – THE NUMBER TWELVE LOOKS LIKE YOU announce a new March 10, 2009 release date for their third full-length release, Worse Than Alone (Eyeball Records). The Bergen County, NJ five-piece self-produced the disc at Backroom Studios in Rockaway, NJ and brought in acclaimed producer/mixer Steve Evetts (Every Time I Die, Dillinger Escape Plan) to handle mixing duties.
