this format makes me feel like a dummy

i'm having trouble reading threads in sequence
as in first post followed with replies in sequence (from oldest to newest)


right now (in "flat view") i'm seeing newest first
i tried "thread view" and that option was, quite frankly, just ugly


is there an option i have yet to discover to adjust my viewing properties or something?

i just hate having to scroll backwards (or upside down, rather) to read things in order

Are you talking about replies within threads or viewing the forum as a whole?

just the thread reply order

the forums are organized fine
it makes sense for newest (or newly replied-to) threads to show up on top

but within them you have to read from the bottom up to read shit in order

i'm such a whiner, sorry

Yeah... I'd go back and check your settings, because you're definitely not running on default settings. Mine's completely normal and looks like every other forum on the web.

Try going to Edit your profile (on the right hand side) -> Profile -> Forum settings -> Then set 'Preferred View Type: Flat' and 'Preferred message ordering: Oldest Post First'

That should do it.

I had that same problem when I first signed up too. I changed it in settings.

Maybe things have changed since you signed up, phagyna. Someone should get on to a mod about this.
