Hmmm, Occult themed? or just cult classics?

In the case of the latter check out Takeshi Miike's and Shinya Tsukamoto's movies respectively.

Or are you looking for stuff in the vein of evil dead?

If you're taking cult film I'd suggest checking out Blue Spring, though I don't know if it would fall in that category. It's a small film about Japanese youth in school gangs.


Too sum up - It's a movie I saw recently I enjoyed and thought it was worth recommendation. Probably not what you're looking for at the moment, though.

Hmm, sorry. Children of the Corn Perhaps? To be honest it's not really my schtick in terms of genres of films. Although I'm sure there's some good shit out there relative to that...

I recommend whatever from Alejandro Jodorowsky, some Tarkovsky like 'Stalker', and also 'Begotten'.
I think that at least some of these ought to fit + I can't really imagine anything more occult than Jodorowsky's work!

i've seen stalker...it was pretty cool, but also very long.

thats one of my brothers favorite movies
