The Apparatus

A Legend Falls were a progressive metal band from Ottawa where I live. They realesed one cd and then broke up in 2005. I had seen them play in a friends basement and they really turned me towards more progressive and diverse metal. What stands out most for me are the vocals, strong highs and very strong clean vocals and the drummer would do some lows. I dont really know any other band that really sounds like them. I defently recommend it if you like Protest The Hero but much heavier but less technical. Even now that like listen to Psyopus and The Crinn , I just listened to it and I still love how everything flows. God damn beautiful

The lead singer and drummer of ALF are now playing in a band called Today I Caught The Plague ( www.myspace.com/todayicaughttheplague ) . My band recently played with them and I can say that im more stoked on their upcoming EP more then anything else right now.

They actually released two albums one in 03 and one in 05. But yea decent band fa sho.

do you have their first cd? how did you hear about them

no i dont have either of their albums, but i heard them on myspace a while back.
