Not trying to be an ass or any thing, but i dont know why this won best album of the year? i mean like the only song on the album i can really listen to with out getting bored of after like 10 seconds is canada, because i know that sweet part is coming up in the song.

At first I was disappointed with the outcome of the polls, being a huge BTBAM fan. When I first listened to Skullgrid I had an already skeptical perception going into it causing me to not fully grasp the wholesomeness of their sound. In an attempt to better understand why they recieved album of the year, I went into listening to the album again without any preconception. Ultimately, I still believe that Colors should have won album of the year. And I should probably check out this Blotted Science everyone's talking about.

Overall: Colors diversity in sound and story line go unsurpassed. The technical side of Behold..the Arctopus is arguably more advance than Between the Buried and Me, even with that crazy contraption of a bass. I've fully experience both albums and still hold to my original stance, just less bias now.
