I am admittedly one of those jaded types who tends to think that he's "heard it all". However, this band's riffs are quite interesting. I like the weird sliding technique they use (or maybe it's something with the whammy bar)to create the illusion of slowing down and speeding up the tape. Not entirely original, but well-executed nonetheless.

thanks for the comment. we dig the band a whole lot, and those guys are so humble and appreciative of all fans. check out their myspace page and send them some dap. they'll love you. plus, their stuff is just a taster. the new material is a lot better than their older material, and the full-length should be far better than the demos. additionally, (new vocalist) lee's performance are so brutal! i love it. check out his other band IVEBEENSHOT for some utterly insane vocals. thanks for your support!

I've got their demo from a while back, but I haven't ordered the new EP yet. Will do it as soon as possible though.

Agreed. It's not what they play but how they play it. Along with their ability to bring everything full circle.

Chaotic is a perfect adjective for BoC. Random? Yes, but not in the sense of completely throwing around arbitrary riffs as though flinging paint onto a wall. I would call it random to say that the feel is so quickly changed by the variation in composition but nothing seems out of place. I'm looking forward to hearing some new work... seems promising.
