this went right over my head.
one of my favourite experi-progresso-metalcore type bands, fear before the march of flames, changed their name to just fear before. like two months ago. where the fuck have i been. their new "self titled" album dropped a couple days ago. which makes me cringe because the name change is so ill-advised. the same thing happened when youthmovie soundtrack strategies changed their name to just youthmovies. i feel the need to set up a charity fund to preserve natures awesome-yet-long band names.

anyway does anyone know if the new album sucks or not?

I have an album of theirs and liked a few tracks off of it, but saw them live about 9 months ago or so and they were absolutely terrible. I had to go outside for it. The band name was alright, but I can't say they're on my list of good or even decent bands.

Ive loved every fear before release, i think they get better in chronological order. the name change isn't really that big of a deal to me. theyre basically a new band now so, I can respect the name change.

If you thought the always open mouth was goo then you'll think the new album is good.

i saw them live in august and they were pretty tight. from what ive heard of the new album on myspace, youtube, etc. has yet to grow on me. maybe the bogus name change is just making me like it less.
