Loop Pedals 5 Months, 2 Weeks ago
I'm fairly nooby when it comes to whats good and whats not in instruments and tools relating to them. I am, however, interested in buying a loop pedal. I'm not in a band or anything so it doesn't have to be stage quality or anything like that. Just something functional that will let me loop guitar tracks to jam to and if it has any fun features to play around with too, thats a plus. Thanks for any suggestions!

Not set in stone completely. Its what I want for a birthday gift coming up, but if there's something really special out there i could go half n half with my parents on it. Just to narrow it down I'll say up to $300.

Line 6 DL4 is a great little toy, i got mine fo about 3 hundred, it has a pretty short loop time; only 14 seconds but it makes up for it in the amount of delay modules it has. DEfinatley look into it youre looking for cool effects with a loop.

I got to researchin and checked out this little guy. I really like that you can send stuff to your computer with removable memory. Also the amount of time you can loop for is nice on that one. Anyone have any experience with this particular pedal? Or know of any that have similar options?

For what it sounds like you're wanting, I'd go with the Digitech, unless you're wanting the delays the Line6 has to offer as well. I've messed around with the Boss some and didn't like it much, but I'm admittedly hard to please.

I'm an analog nerd, thus this is my looper of choice.

Old bump
My DD-7 has a loop feature which is good enough for my needs.

I ended up goin with the Digitech JamMan. The only regret I have about getting it is how easily it distracts me from studying. I have no work ethic.

Haha.
I have that issue; everything distracts me.
Enjoy your Looper
