metallica thinks so.

Haven't listened to 'Death Magnetic' yet, and this makes it ever happening even less likely. You shouldn't ever have the need to sacrifice sound quality for volume. That's what the fucking volume knob is for.

We haven't discussed new metallica on here surprisingly. Here's my take on it; Don't listen to new metallica.... "It's like...the best metallica album in 20 years!" Yeah, that doesn't fucking say much does it.

I can't totally hate them. They were the first metal band I ever listened to. No chance in hell I'd ever have ended up with the musical tastes I do without them, but for Christ's sake, preserve your legacy! Stop producing shit!

yeah i hate them now, but ride the lightening was the album that got me into metal and made me want to hear faster and more extreme music
