It's pretty good over here. Gotta be honest, I've never heard a Minus the Bear song in my life... They have like 4 albums, any suggestions for a newbie?

They played a free show here in Gainesville last Sunday. It was pretty good. Annuals was pretty baller too. I loved the genre hopping they pulled, my roommate picked up their CD so I'll be jacking that some time soon.

@ Keith: I just started listening to Minus the Bear because I found out they were coming and I'd heard a lot about them, so I'm no expert, but I have 'Planet of Ice' and its a pretty solid album. I don't know how it stacks up against their other stuff though. Also, protip: Its even better high. (more so than other music, or I wouldn't have mentioned it.)

Tried them, couldn't get into it. I just want Botch back.

man im prety pissed at myself not only did i miss the fall of troy/tera melos show when they came to canada in april but there was a minus the bear/portugal the man show that month too. bummerrrr.
but yeah minus the bear kick ass. botch i was never crazy about. no clue who annuals are.
to each his own.
