I was wondering what do you use to make your tremolo arm on your floyd rose stay pointing out. I began using a plastic bag but it doesnt really work. I tried tightening it with an allen wrench and it didnt do anything.

It depends what kind of bar you have. The one I have now uses these little white plastic washers to keep the bar stiffly in place. They wear out after awhile and I have to replace the washers. If it's a screw in type, you can use plumbing tape to wrap around the threwads. That should tighten it up when you screw it in. Otherwise, . . . those are the only two kinds of trem syustems I have used extensively before.

I hope that helps.

i have an rg370dx and i was going to change the pickup really soon to emg 81 and 85s. My tremolo arm just slides in place but if i push down on it there is a liitle screw or an allen wrech to fit (very small) i tightened it and nothing happed. i want to get on of those white washer things
