Montreal's NEURAXIS have confirmed details for the band's upcoming video shoot for the track "Darkness Prevails" from the recently released record "The Thin Line Between". The clip will be directed by Chris Alsop of fellow Canadians TORN WITHIN and will be filmed August 12, just prior to the group's departure for Summer Slaughter Canada.

"'Darkness Prevails' will be a performance video, capturing the essence of intensity that NEURAXIS delivers in a live event," guitarist Rob Milley says. "Now that the new album is out, we're looking forward to playing the Summer Slaughter Canada Tour, so come out early as NEURAXIS plays fifth out of nine bands."

"The Thin Line Between" was released last month through the band's new home, Prosthetic Records. Featuring the studio debuts of new NEURAXIS members, guitarist William Seghers and vocalist Alex Leblanc, "The Thin Line Between" was recorded with ANONYMUS guitarist Jef Fortin and features artwork from Dennis Sibejin of Damnengine Art (JOB FOR A COWBOY, CHIMAIRA). The CD is the follow-up to last year's live disc "Live Progression", which was isued through Galy Records.

HardTimes.ca recently conducted an interview with Rob Milley and Alex Leblanc. Watch the 10-minute chat below.
