ORGONE posted 11-minutes worth of excerpts from their forthcoming album, "The Joyless Parson" which is set to be released in January of 2009.
Under normal circumstances, we'd be glad to share complete songs, but since they range from 3 to 15 minutes in length, this approach seemed more appropriate. We feel like 11 minutes is still a pretty respectable slab of music to release, so please check it out and let us know what you think.

We're planning on doing a video interview with our friend Eddie Bursch (Yalcom Pictures) concerning the content of the album and I've just posted the lyrics for anyone who is interested in reading them. Our drummer, Justin Wharton will also be creating a 3D animation for one of the interlude tracks. We'll post both of those as soon as they're available.

All in all, I feel that this is a significantly more diverse and emotive album than the prior two and all of us are greatly looking forward to its official release. It was a very intense, exhausting process, but we're pleased with the end result and would like to send major thanks to our friend Doug White of Watchmen Studios for recording us, helping us navigate the area and enduring the effects of Ransom's clandestine coffeepot brewing. Doug's band Tearwave just released their second full-length, so check that out if you're into shoegaze in the vein of Cocteau Twins, Lush & the like.

Anyway, thanks a lot for reading and please feel free to contact us if you have any comments or questions regarding the album or lyrics. Take care.

Steve / Orgone
