After we returned home from More Sound Studios last month with a completed instrumental album, we realized that some of the songs still needed something. There was no lag in the production whatsoever, just a void, a layer of music that needed to be filled.
We asked Brian, our former vocalist, if he would be interested in laying down some guest tracks on the album so we gave him a copy. He ended up liking the album so much that he decided that since he is no longer tied down with school (he's a college grad now!) that he would like to return to the band.
We have spent the last month practicing as often as possible to get him prepared for recording and things are going great. His voice is as powerful as ever and he is even playing some rhythm guitar on the album and live. We are still keeping a few songs instrumental as well as good portions of others.
Today we will be heading back into Infinite Studios to start tracking and hoping to do the final mix in early July back at More Sound Studios with Jocko for a late August release.
No tour plans yet aside from some weekend shows in the mid west.
Thanks for your patience, we are certain that this album will be worth the wait.
