In my opinion the best DI album to date. On The Healing Process Despised Icon blend Death Metal and Hardcore together seamlessly. The achieved something most Deathcore bands cannot, they make all the different styles they throw together work without it sounding contrived. The Lyrics range everywhere from murdering people (Silverplated advocate, Warm Blooded), to Arrogance (Immaculate) to the bleakness of everyday life(As Bridges Burn). Vocals are switch back and forth perfectly which makes it really hard to get bored with the vocals. The musicianship of the band is top notch on this band they go from brutal Death Metal to some grooving Hardcore with relative ease. All in all this album is a must for fans of Metal and Hardcore alike. If you havent heard this yet, you need to ASAP.
